RFK Stadium Seats
The original wooden RFK stadium seats installed in 1961 and still remaining in RFK today were home to 36 NFL football seasons, 11 total MLB baseball seasons, and 22 seasons of MLS soccer. Just a few short years ago it was the 4’th oldest active stadium behind Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Yankee Stadium.
We removed several thousand seats circa 2009 to 2011 which were not needed when the Nationals left RFK for their new ballpark. All floor mounted seats, both wooden slatted and plastic seats/backs. The remaining seats re-assembled from this batch are now the seats that we have for sale. Most of the other seats were used in the movie “42” , repainted to represent Ebbets Field. These were then stripped and used in hundreds of Zaxby’s restaurants, others on Saturday Night Live and many other shows and movies.
The seats we have on hand in our warehouse at the moment are the ones we removed circa 2011, we are in a gradual process of preparing this batch for sale again.

RFK seats with heavy-duty legs and plastic seats/backs
“As-is” plastic floor-mounted RFK seats were removed in 2011 when Nationals left for good. These can be configured as singles, doubles, or longer rows. Includes mahogany wood feet for stability, not shown in these photos.
