Description
Shea Stadium seats. These are similar to the “commemorative” seats made for the Yankees using real plastic but other legs.
- These seats have real Shea plastic and then the legs are the exact model but from Camden NJ Riversharks. We powder-coated them orange to make “ Shea Seats”. Legs may be from middle of the row and not row end as in photo here
- The MLB stickers were placed on most of the number tags by the Mets but sometimes not. At least one of the seats will have the MLB sticker.
- At Shea there were about 1,200 of these seats behind the home plate/dugout area. They were installed in the last years at Shea so the old seats could be cannibalized for parts to repair the rest of the lower level seats.
- We shipped most as pairs in 2008, the plastic we have now is the connecting plastic seats/backs from when the pairs were created from the long rows as we did the removal at Shea.
- Comes with mahogany wooden feet for indoor or outdoor use. If you don’t need the wooden feet let us know and we can lower the cost, color is a dark brown usually, with natural variation.
