Archer Seating provided seats that were used to recreate Ebbets Field in the 2013 Jackie Robinson movie 42. The seats were painted on-set in Chattanooga, Tenn., at Engle Stadium and made to look like the seats at Ebbets Field. The legs are from RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. The wood is from Pompano Racetrack in Florida. (The original wood from RFK was replaced by aluminum and plastic on any seats that were exposed to the weather.) Steve Archer, owner of Archer Seating Clearinghouse was also in the movie portraying a Phillies player, as part of his deal with Warner Brothers in the rental of the seats.
- Light blue wooden seat boards.
- Light blue metal floor-mount legs from RFK Stadium.
Hello Mr. Archer, I just wanted to take the time to write you a couple of lines. I got my seats and I’m extremely happy with them. Thank you so much and have a great day, week, month…..etc. If I ever come across anyone looking for something like this, I’ll refer them to you. Kindest regards,-Edwin P.
