Cassell Coliseum/ Mcmorran Arena
About Our Cassell / McMorran Brackets
We have floor mounting stands/seat bracket kits available that fit seats from the Virginia Tech Cassell Coliseum (and many other venues as well such as McMorran Arena in Michigan). Truth be told, these same brackets fit MANY other venues but with different nut/bolts that we supply. The shipping will be calculated at checkout. There are two options available for customers, “Standard Hokie bracket and the Presidential Hokie bracket.” The Regular brackets only include the brackets, while the Presidential Hokie brackets include the brackets and wooden feet (which has a more executive appearance.) You will need one bracket for each leg. Email or call us up if you have any questions: 856-692-0242.
All brackets are powder-coated. There are no sharp edges. Appropriate hardware is included. They are very sturdy and are made for use. The brackets and wood feet were manufactured by local businesses here in South Jersey. You can learn more about the two styles below:
We have been making this design for 22 years in the same style, over 500,000 made and counting. By the geometry of the seats you don’t need much material to support in the rear because your weight is all cantilevered off the front.
Note: Wood feet under brackets are not needed for normal use. They do make the seats look fancier from an aesthetic point of view and they are a few inches longer in the front which is good for commercial applications . The Presidential bracket’s wood feet are simply a style choice, or an option to create a surface between the metal bracket and your flooring. Both styles are stable. Wood feet are not suitable for outdoor use where they will be exposed to rain.
